Umbrellas

Wonderful canopy of umbrellas as part of the Agitagueda Art Festival, in Agueda, Portugal. Wonder if something similar may work in Glasgow. Probably needs to more continuous to keep out the rain ..

Tokyo Townhouse

An interesting, if a little spartan, house in Tokyo via Detail Daily.

I like the concrete, dark wood, salt and light filtered from above. Imagine it with some lovely furniture from the likes of The Lollipop Shoppe or one of its many competitors (I have no affiliation) and it becomes calmer and less stark.

web-blog-writer

And away we go ..

Now the sites more or less done I can turn my attention to the blog. I promise I’ll try to keep it up to date, informative and maybe even interesting.

Posts will, I anticipate, be a rough mix of what’s going on in the wider world in terms of interesting architecture and design, things relating to Scottish homeowners such as developments in planning and construction legislation (yawn..) and some news about what we’ve been up to. I hope there’ll be stuff of interest for you and please leave comments (if they’re not too troll-y).
